Ego State Therapy

Cynthia was an Assistant Trainer for a 4-day virtual advanced EST Training in December 2024 in Iran by Dr. Woltemade Hartman. She facilitated multiple breakout groups for practicing EST approaches, moderated the chat, and answered questions from trainees.

Clinical Hypnosis

Cynthia was an Assistant Trainer for Wendy Lemke's 3-day ASCH-approved Clinical Hypnosis Level 1 course, Fundamentals of Clinical Hypnosis, from 11 August through 13, 2024. Cynthia facilitated four 2-hour long practice groups focused on the experiential learning of participants. The course was taught from a trauma-informed lens to meet the needs of both mental health and health care providers.

Ego State Therapy

Cynthia was an Assistant Trainer with Wendy Lemke for Ego State Therapy Foundations Course II from 6 March 2024 through 1 May 2024. The curriculum for Foundations courses teaches the fundamental knowledge and skills of Ego State Therapy, including therapeutic applications. As part of this course, Cynthia presented her own 30-minute training, "Beginning to Integrate Ego State Therapy with Other Modalities: A Sampling of CBT, SFBT, and EMDR," during the training session on 24 April 2024.

Perinatal Mental Health In-Service Training

Cynthia provided an in-service training, Perinatal Mental Health: An Introduction, for Mill Creek Family Services in Washington, USA on 26 September 2024.

Cynthia is currently developing training related to integrating Ego State Therapy with EMDR.​

Since 1995, Cynthia has presented over 100 times at in-person and online conferences. workshops, symposia, and other events in the US and internationally. She has been a plenary and keynote speaker many times. Past presentations and trainings are listed here.
